About this opportunity
The Katsina Youth Strategy & Results Summit is a two-day capacity-building programme for young people who want to turn ideas into action and ambition into results. It brings together youths from all 34 local government areas of Katsina State, including students, graduates, entrepreneurs, public and private sector workers, community volunteers, and members of youth associations, to learn, connect, and plan for meaningful impact in their communities.
Many young people have the passion and potential to lead but lack the tools to plan clearly, organise others, and follow through. This summit fills that gap with practical, interactive sessions focused on four core areas. Participants will learn strategic thinking: how to analyse challenges, set clear goals, and make sound decisions. They will build leadership skills, including how to inspire and coordinate others, communicate with confidence, and lead with integrity. They will learn execution: turning plans into action through prioritisation, time management, and accountability. Finally, they will develop a results orientation, learning to measure progress, learn from setbacks, and deliver outcomes that matter.
Through expert-led sessions, group exercises, case studies, and peer learning, each participant will leave with a personal action plan and a clear result they commit to achieving within six months after the summit. The programme also gives participants the chance to build lasting networks with peers and mentors across the state.
Participation is open to youths of Katsina State origin or residence. To ensure fair representation across the state, selection will consider participants from every LGA. Participants must commit to attending both days in full.
Registration is free. Spaces are limited, so interested applicants are encouraged to register early.
